Join the OneTable community for a special evening of connecting and unplugging. Shabbat encourages us to become fully present, away from our screens, and engaged in the world around us, resting, resetting, and indulging; so let’s lean in together!

About the event
Please arrive promptly at 7:00 pm as our programming begins shortly thereafter, and we want everyone present.
We will start the evening with appetizers, drinks, and schmoozing, and then get into Speed Friending! There is no experience necessary - I’m new to this too! We only ask that you bring your open, optimistic, and friendly self to this great evening. You will engage in short (~5 minute) conversations with one or two other people and will have a new theme/prompt for each session. Then, after a few structured rounds of meeting amazing new folks, we will sit down together to enjoy a delicious Shabbat meal.

🎟️ Your $18 ticket includes 1 complimentary alcoholic (wine, beer, seltzer) or non-alcoholic beverage, appetizers, challah, Suviche sushi and fried rice as the main course, and dessert. As well as an exciting and engaging program, hopefully resulting in someone new to invite to your Shabbat dinner table! 😉 Cash bar is also available. At OneTable, we firmly believe that cost should never be a barrier to entry. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to delayna@onetable.org - we are happy to discount/waive the price as needed. We want you here!
🚗 Dear Eleanor is in Wynwood, and there is parking! You are able to park for free at 120 NE 27th St. and we are right across the street at 148 NE 28th St. We strongly recommend carpooling or ridesharing (Uber/Lyft), especially if you will be consuming alcohol.
This event is part of the national Permission to Unplug series. “Unplugging” can look like so many things - taking a deep breath in nature, finding inspiration in art, diving into a deep conversation with a good friend - and has countless proven benefits on peoples’ health and wellbeing. We invite you to try leaning into “unplugging” for this night together, in whatever way that means to you, and explore how you might embrace this intentionality in your life.
