MILFD Figure Drawing Fundraiser

aola Vales is a Miami based professional fine art model, community organizer, creator of MILFD and co-founder of Muse Collective. In collaboration with Dear Eleanor and friends, Paola will present their first figure drawing marathon. This session is at its core a fundraiser. Your contributions will go towards securing stable housing and necessary car repairs for Paola as they return from a mental health sabbatical that required letting go of three months worth of university and studio employment in order to seek treatment. This session will consist of 125 minutes worth of 17 dynamic, seated, reclined, contrapposto, gestures, short and long form poses with Paola as the model. Musical accompaniment will be provided by local piano man, Anthony Capo. We also have Cameron Gonzalez, a professional photographer that will capture high quality stills of each pose from different viewpoints that will be available to purchase as an affordable figurative study reference pack. There will be a limited amount of our community art supplies to share, so we advise you come prepared with your own if you can, as ours are distributed on a “first come, first serve basis” and we are unable to guarantee your preferred choice of materials. We will have a complimentary grazing table, as well as refreshments that have been graciously sponsored by Unseen Creatures & Jojo Tea. You can bring your own snacks and water if you’d like.
