About the event
Immerse yourself in the world of Japanese rope bondage with the Ichinawa self-tie class, where you'll explore the artistry of Shibari using just one rope. This unique approach fosters creativity and originality, pushing participants to innovate within the constraints of a single strand.
Throughout the class, you'll delve into foundational techniques, safety protocols, and the aesthetic principles that underpin Shibari. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice, students will learn basic ties and knots, honing their understanding of tension, beauty, and communication in rope bondage.
Perfect for beginners with no prior experience or experienced rope people, this session invites participants to bring their own rope, although a limited supply will be available for practice. By the class's end, you'll have not only acquired essential skills but also the confidence to embark on your Shibari journey safely.
Your instructor, @-Summer- , will guide you through this immersive experience. We encourage attendees to bring a blanket or mat, and while some rope will be provided, feel free to bring your own or DM me about purchasing rope.
Refreshments & light snacks will be available, and you're welcome to bring snacks to share (potluck)
