Kinbaku Miami: Self Tie Saturdays

Immerse yourself in the world of Japanese rope bondage with our Self Tie class, where you'll explore the artistry of Shibari through solo-bondage. This unique practice fosters creativity and connection, encouraging you to innovate and deepen your relationship with your own body.

In this workshop, Arkady will cover Semenawa in self tying. Semenawa is endurance or torture rope depending on how and what you do. He will go over techniques for Semenawa and how it can help you release stress, emotional pain and anxiety. We will go over ties and the psychological effects that can happen in this practice.

Throughout the class, you'll cover essential techniques, safety protocols, and aesthetic principles of Shibari. Hands-on demonstrations and guided practice will help you master basic ties and knots, improving your understanding of tension, beauty, and communication in rope bondage.

This session is perfect for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Bring your own rope if possible; a limited supply will be available. By the end, you'll have the skills and confidence to safely embark on your Shibari journey.

Arkady will lead this immersive experience. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or mat. Refreshments and light snacks will be available, and you're welcome to bring snacks to share (potluck). For inquiries or to secure your spot, please reach out.
